Freezer door for extremely low temperatures
Because of its doorblade thickness of 170 mm, the Orion Blast Freezer can insulate spaces with temperatures as low as -40°C. The Blast Freezer is a sliding door and cuts through the air. Therefore, cold air downdraught created when opening the door is very low.
The door seals the doorway completely, preventing unnecessary energy loss. The water does not run from the room during cleaning.
Complete door system
The Metaflex Orion Blast Freezer is delivered including installation frame, sill and aluminium rail construction with an indentation to attain an airtight sealing function. Heat tape is incorporated in the frame and the bottom sill preventing the formation of ice.
The doorblade, made up of panels, is a full 170 mm thick and finished with a polyester coating and a stainless steel rim. All around, the blade is equipped with a sealing rubber.
